I can’t wait to see this e reader live. It looks amazing.
The Skiff Reader has an 11.5-inch-diagonal screen and a thickness of only about a quarter-inch. It’s believed to be the first e-reader whose e-paper display is based on a thin, flexible sheet of stainless steel foil covered in thin plastic, which means it’s not supposed to break if you drop it.

It works when you: you go to FreeRice.com and play their vocabulary game, for each question answered correctly 20 grains of rice to the United Nations World Food Program. It is a win-win situation – you get to play the game, FreeRice get the traffics, advertisers get their exposure, and people get the free rice. The rice that is donated is distributed by the United Nations World Food Program (WFP).
